Eric has a professional calm about him as the music flows from his soul. A natural talent, he can play various styles of music, blend pieces together, easily deal with last minute changes, and customize a performance that suits each occasion. As a teacher, he is patient, challenging, and encouraging. It's a great mix of professional genius with personable interaction. Highly recommended!

"As a Gainesville piano teacher I have been very impressed each time I have heard Eric Redmond play for weddings or other occasions that required background music. His arrangements seem to flow effortlessly from one piece to another, yet with a wide variety of styles and moods. I recently took lessons with Eric to expand my repertoire of pieces for weddings and for piano pedagogy. I use several of his arrangements in my own playing and with my students. I would highly recommend Eric as a piano teacher and as a pianist for any occasion. He not only plays piano exceptionally well, but is also able to lead singing or provide vocal solos if that is desired."

"Eric played for my wedding in October of 2008. I was a little worried, because the ceremony was outside and the nearest outlet was a long way away. Eric made sure everything was set up correctly without hideous cords in the way for me to trip over! His music was absolutely beautiful and he was right on cue for everything. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Thank you Eric."

"Two weeks before our wedding at Kanapaha, we heard Eric playing for another wedding and were immediately taken. After the other wedding, I came over and spoke with Eric as he loaded his equipment. He was very kind, courteous, professional, and knowledgable. We visited his website with the very useful music planning page (use it!) and booked him for our wedding. The day of he arrived looking very sharp and had his (very high quality) equipment ready to deploy. I was so busy I did not see him again until he was already playing during the seating of our guests. He adapted his music to the flow of the ceremony and was completely aware of appropriate timing. His music made the ceremony feel warm and genuine, and having had him play, I would insist that any friend of mine be sure to give Eric a call. Wonderful music, professional, no hassle for a very busy event, what more could we want? Thank you Eric!"

Eric is an awesome pianist and singer! We really enjoyed working with him. He has a CD that was really helpful that featured the most common songs that he plays and sings at weddings. My husband and I got to pick which songs we wanted him to play for our ceremony. He was even willing to learn something new, which we did ask him if he could learn "Lost in This Moment." It was great! We had an outdoor wedding, but that did not matter at all. The music still sounded amazing! I would highly recommend getting Eric to perform at your wedding!

This review is from the parents of the bride's perspective. We first met Eric and his wife Becky during one of the local Bridal Shows as we assisted our daughter and future son-in-law in selecting vendors for their wedding . We were impressed with his talent from the very beginning. They provided us with a sample of his work on a CD to help us with our decision; however, based upon that initial impression, we decided he was right for our daughter's wedding even before we left the Bridal Show. Live music adds such a warm touch to an already special event as your only daughter's wedding. Words cannot express how pleased and impressed we were with Eric's performance (both instrumental and vocal) at both our daughter's wedding and rehearsal. Eric is an extremely talented pianist. He and his wife Becky are very pleasant to work with and are very professional. His rates are very reasonable as well. Eric provides everything you need for a quality performance. Given we had some intial rain to contend with during our daughter's outdoor wedding, Eric's flexibility allowed him to still provide the service our daughter deserved. We would not think twice about referring Eric.

I found Eric's website while Googling pianists in the Gainesville area, and my wife Sarah and I could not have been more happy. We got married on June 6th, and Eric did the music (playing and singing) for both our ceremony and reception. We knew from listening to his work online and reading other reviews that he was very talented, but once we got together with him to put together the actual ceremony and reception, we were so excited that we had chosen him. As for the ceremony, he really wanted to get a feel for what we wanted - he was able to play any song we could possibly think of, and he wanted us to love every part of it. When we didn't really have any ideas for a song to go in a certain place, he always had wonderful suggestions. He has a true heart for worship, and he led the congregation in 3 beautiful, rousing hymns during our ceremony. As for the reception, he introduced the entire wedding party (18 people) flawlessly (which is rare!), and played throughout. He picked great songs that the older generation knew from people like Frank Sinatra, but that had been remade by people like Michael Buble (so the younger generation knew them too!). Everybody had a great time dancing - it was a perfect mixture of songs. Sometimes he sang, sometimes he just played, but it was always just right. He was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. For days after our wedding, we were raving to each other about how happy we were that Eric did our wedding.

Eric did such a great job playing at my outdoor wedding ceremony. Once I gave him the list of songs I picked out, he was able to make professional suggestions of what would sound good and flow together. His beautiful piano playing skills kept my guests entertained while I was 20 minutes late =) I would recommend Eric over and over again.

I remember the night that I found Eric Redmond's website. I fell in love with the music and the sound from the piano. It brought tears to my eyes and I knew if I had to cut corners on my wedding I would, but NOT Eric! I just HAD to have him play at our wedding. We got married on October 11, 2009 at The Country Club of Ocala. I have gotten so many compliments from my guests; how they loved the live music and how it provided such a delicate elegant touch to the ceremony. Eric is amazing! He truly is an incredibly talented gem from above! He answered all my e-mails, all my questions close to immediately and even through each email I could feel him and Becky smiling. Not only did Eric play and perform for us but Becky (his wife) was truly a joy and a blessing to me each time I spoke with her and exchanged e-mails. I can't wait to have another occasion to hire him again! We highly recommend him. His rates are very reasonable. The incredible piece he can bring to any event will leave you and your guests stunned! He truly exceeded our expectations and we're SO happy he was a part of our special day. For a graceful, stylish and classy event you need Eric Redmond!

Eric was great! He was friendly and played beautiful music for our ceremony. He also sang for us during the ceremony and it was very special. He was very flexible with what I requested be played and was willing to do/play anything I wanted.

"Dear Eric and Becky, Just a quick thank you for the wonderful musical accompaniment you provided for our wedding. Eric, you were terrific, and we were thrilled with the way it all went. The music as I arrived was just perfect, and honestly brought tears to my eyes...just beautiful! We have had many compliments from our guests. They were most impressed, and the music was, of course, a big part of it. Again, our thanks to you both. It was truly a pleasure to work with you!"

"We wanted to thank you for the wonderful piano music you put together and played for us at our wedding ceremony. Many of our family and friends praised your skills and said the live piano music enhanced the ceremony. We especially appreciate your taking the trouble to make a piano arrangement of Vivaldi's "Spring," and helping us choose beautiful, yet non-traditional pieces. Planning a wedding from 1000 miles was pretty tricky, but your website and our over-the-phone discussion made the ceremonial music part the easiest to plan!"

"Eric was quite the professional from the beginning communication before the ceremony to work out the details to the day of the wedding. His music was flowing and flawless and enhanced the beauty of the day. Being a musician myself, I would not hesitate to recommend him."

"We could not have asked for or imagined our music to come out as well as Eric played for us. His singing and music was absolutely perfect. He clearly knows a lot about weddings and was even able to guide us in which parts of the ceremony we would need songs and other parts where we might just need some musical interlude. These were things of which we hadn't thought. He is very professional and is able to accomodate most any request not only easily but with an impressive amount of grace that really placed us at ease. We knew after sitting with Eric that the music was taken care of. We just didn't have to think of it again. Our ceremony was indoors with a classical piano. He played beautifully and was able to accomodate any type of song we requested. All in all, our wedding has left us with wonderful memories and Eric's music was great in accentuating all of it."

"Eric was the pianist for our March 28, 2009 wedding. He was absolutely amazing! I was having trouble finding a song for the groomsmen and bridesmaids to walk down the aisle to. I was in love with the song “River Flows to You” which is better known as Bella's Lullaby from the movie Twilight (not the one off the movie soundtrack). However, I wasn't sure if it would work because the end of the song was kind of depressing. Eric assured me that it would work and changed the end of the song to sound more upbeat! I even liked his version of the song better than the original! He even was nice enough to write a blog about our wedding and music selection. All of our guests raved about how beautiful the music was at our wedding. He is a very gifted pianist and I would highly recommend him!"

As a wedding planner and decorator, it is imperative that our recommendations are excellent as they reflect our focus on excellence in producing our clients' events. We are always delighted to recommend and work with Eric Redmond. He is a concert quality pianist, plays from music, by ear and composes as well! His upbeat attitude pervades his performance. He is a delightful individual. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
