Jay's is a full service Bridal & Formalwear specialty store established in 1935, located in Gainesville, Florida, home of the University of Florida.
Paul & Linda Rhodenizer, both graduates of the University of Florida, have owned Jay's since 1987 and are the third family to own Jay's. You will find one of them at the store almost all-the-time.
From Jay's original 1,750 square foot location in 1987, we have expanded Jay's eight times over 22 years to its current 7,600 square foot brick & mortar retail store front in the Creekside Mall.
Our consultants and managers are highly trained in product knowledge, fashion and customer service. We want you to receive the best advice and service for your wedding! Our staff is patient! They are good listeners! They have come to understand that the average bride will always want to shop at three or four stores before choosing “The Dress.” For a once-in-a-lifetime experience, you should never feel pressured to “buy-it-now” at Jay’s (or anywhere else).
Jay’s Bridal offers one of the largest selections of top designer wedding gowns in the area, as well as an exceptional variety of bridesmaid and flower girl dresses, sophisticated mother's dresses, exquisite veils, shoes, and accessories. Unlike national chain stores, who sell the same dresses hundreds of times over. We seek exclusive designers and exclusive styles. Exclusive, but not expensive, can be used to define most of the styles we sell by top bridal gown designers Maggie Sottero, Allure Bridals, Mori Lee, Casablanca, Jasmine, Sophia Tolli and Sincerity. In the bridesmaid department, we carry all top labels and look for new lines that can offer fast delivery.
